Important information

We act as an intermediary and a support service. We are not a financial institution and we do not lend money.

Co-borrower and support

Some people have difficulty obtaining financing from traditional financial institutions because of their credit record.

We work with independent lenders who may accept an application when the file includes a qualified co-borrower.

Our role is to support you throughout your process in order to improve your chances of approval. We are not the lender and we do not guarantee that financing will be obtained.

Depending on the level of risk associated with the file, the financing may be disbursed in several stages.

In addition, we offer support aimed at:

  • better structuring your budget
  • analyzing your financial situation
  • assessing your repayment capacity

Responsible financing policy

All applications are reviewed to ensure that the requested financing matches your repayment capacity, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act.

This review includes in particular:

  • assessing your debt ratio
  • verifying your income and financial stability
  • analyzing your bank transactions
  • validating your current financial obligations

An application may be refused if we believe the financing could worsen your financial situation.

No financing is offered without a prior review.

Financing conditions

Financing conditions vary depending on the lender and your profile.

  • Repayment term: generally between 3 and 6 months
  • Annual rate (APR): may reach up to 32%, including applicable fees
  • The exact rate is set by the lender based on the risk associated with your file

We do not control the conditions offered by the lender and cannot guarantee their terms.

Borrow responsibly

The financing offered is intended for clients with a higher-risk credit profile. This generally involves higher borrowing costs than those of traditional financial institutions.

Before applying, make sure that:

  • the financing is necessary
  • you are able to keep up with the payments
  • you are not taking on several debts at the same time

This type of financing should be used occasionally, particularly in case of emergency.

Payments, fees and commitments

You are responsible for meeting the repayment terms set out in your contract with the lender.

Administrative fees may apply, in particular:

  • up to $40 for a refused or returned payment
  • up to $25 for certain changes or actions outside the contract

In the event of a missed payment, interest may be added and additional fees may be required.

We do not share your file with credit agencies such as Equifax or TransUnion.

If you experience difficulty, you must contact the lender directly, ideally at least 48 hours before a withdrawal.

Collections

In the event of default, collection measures in accordance with applicable Canadian laws may be put in place.

The full balance may become immediately due, and administrative or legal proceedings may be undertaken. Additional fees may then apply.

Once the file is transferred to a collection agency, our ability to intervene is limited.

Renewal and future applications

The renewal of financing is never automatic.

Every new application is subject to a full review.

A good repayment history may make it easier to access future financing options, without guarantee.
